Shows, albums -- THE update.
Allow me to get you up-to-date.
For the past few years, I've slowly been working on a release called Making Music. The songs on that release have really just been experiments; they were me getting to know the tools (toys) I've acquired over time. At first it was just going to be an EP, but it slowly made it's way into becoming a full-length LP.
By all means and any possible stretch of the imagination, Making Music should have already been released. There were, however, a large number of unforseen circumstances generally consisting of me either losing or potentially losing all my data.
Computress can be moody.
On Wednesday, November 2nd 2005, I posted about a new track which was tentatively titled "She Spells It With Two 'C's". The dilema I had was whether to postpone the release of Making Music yet again in order to include that song.
As time went on, "She Spells It With Two 'C's" underwent a lot of change, including a new title. It took a whole new shape. I quickly realized that this is what I've been working toward.
Up To The Moon, Down To Tokyo: We Have A Trip Planned., as it's now called, is currently a 20+ minute work-in-progress. On March 4th, I'll be performing it live at The Hive Gallery. More information on that as I receive it.
For the few of you out there that have been waiting patiently for Making Music, that project isn't dead. Instead, I'm gonna finish off those tracks and release it online for donations. You'll have the option of downloading MP3s, AACs/M4As, WAVs, or a red book mastered ISO for you to burn a CD with to get proper track positioning and transitioning. Artwork will also be available for download.
Up To The Moon, Down To Tokyo: We Have A Trip Planned. will be released properly and will include a whole mess of things I haven't had time to think through yet.

Addendum.
Post script:
I almost forgot. I wrote a line that had no home back in '96. I've decided, yesterday, that it will have a home in "Up To The Moon, Down To Tokyo: We Have A Trip Planned."
"If you're happy, and you know it, you can suck my dick."

I will not feel guilt on account of yours
I am horribly awake. My mind is racing terribly. I don't imagine I'll be getting much sleep tonight.
I'd love to elaborate, but I really just can't be bothered. There is just way too much shit to type. If you really want to know, feel free to ask about it on the phone or in person.
I've nothing to hide, really.
That song I started working on not to long ago, tentatively titled "She Spells It With Two 'C's" has had more work done. From the looks of it, this is going to end up being some sort of 20 minute epic and will be released as such. More details as they form.

She Spells It With Two Cs
So, of course, as I was looking for some of my files to finish up a track called "Collecting Dust", I ended up starting a new song.
It appears that digression is the new black.
I'm 14 seconds into the song, but it's already showing promise. The current debate is whether or not to include it in the album. I really do need to finish up some of the other tracks and master the album, and I can tell that this new one is gonna require a lot of time editing and zooming and panning and faux stereo... and possibly a lot of reverb.
I sure do likes me my excessive reverb.
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

I laugh because you're failing
I'm actually surprised I hadn't posted about this before.
So a few months ago - oh, let's say May 20th - Hara-Kari Kitty asked me to do a remix of his song "Android Fireball V2 Batzz" to be included on a remix album. I was more than happy to.
I'm very pleased with the result, to be honest. It was my first real attempt at a remix, so it was exciting. This was finished some time ago, probably a couple weeks after, but I just saw that the album, Android Fireball V2 Batzz Remixed & Revamped, is available for purchase.
My remix is called "I laugh because you're failing". Schadenfreude at its finest.

w00t, as it were
I finally got my DVD burner back from Pioneer on Wednesday. A simple snafu, an incorrect address on their part is the reason it took so long. Now I can get back to finishing the Pseudo Cyborg album.
I am at one with the universe.
That is all.
