Shows, albums -- THE update.
Allow me to get you up-to-date.
For the past few years, I've slowly been working on a release called Making Music. The songs on that release have really just been experiments; they were me getting to know the tools (toys) I've acquired over time. At first it was just going to be an EP, but it slowly made it's way into becoming a full-length LP.
By all means and any possible stretch of the imagination, Making Music should have already been released. There were, however, a large number of unforseen circumstances generally consisting of me either losing or potentially losing all my data.
Computress can be moody.
On Wednesday, November 2nd 2005, I posted about a new track which was tentatively titled "She Spells It With Two 'C's". The dilema I had was whether to postpone the release of Making Music yet again in order to include that song.
As time went on, "She Spells It With Two 'C's" underwent a lot of change, including a new title. It took a whole new shape. I quickly realized that this is what I've been working toward.
Up To The Moon, Down To Tokyo: We Have A Trip Planned., as it's now called, is currently a 20+ minute work-in-progress. On March 4th, I'll be performing it live at The Hive Gallery. More information on that as I receive it.
For the few of you out there that have been waiting patiently for Making Music, that project isn't dead. Instead, I'm gonna finish off those tracks and release it online for donations. You'll have the option of downloading MP3s, AACs/M4As, WAVs, or a red book mastered ISO for you to burn a CD with to get proper track positioning and transitioning. Artwork will also be available for download.
Up To The Moon, Down To Tokyo: We Have A Trip Planned. will be released properly and will include a whole mess of things I haven't had time to think through yet.

Bullet Points
I got an e-mail on Saturday informing me that my 10-year High School reunion is tentatively scheduled for the 24th or 25th of June.
I'm still not sure how I feel about that.
It's always good making friends with a barkeep, and I've done so at Lucky Baldwin's. Previously he introduced me to Achel Trappist. Last night I was introduced to Avec Les Bons Voeux. He also pleasantly omitted a few beers from the bill.
Indeed, it's good to make friends with the barkeep.
Animal Crossing: Wild World has been consuming a greater part of my life.
"Addictive" isn't nearly a strong enough word to describe this game.
I bought Guitar Hero on Friday and took it over to JP & Brandon's place. Josh and Tiffany were also present. We drank and rocked and drank.
This game, too, is beyond addictive
I've been working extensively with PowerPoint the past couple weeks. I've always hated that application. I now have more gripes with it, but the most prevalent and annoying of all: removing elements from the presentation does not necessarily remove them from the file.
I can't seem to find a way to purge unused data from the file, so I have to create the presentation to my liking, open a new document, and paste only the elements that made the final cut. It's tedious and horribly inefficient in terms of workflow, but it does make for a much smaller file size.
Microsoft really needs to fix that.
I won $50 as a result of picking squares on a sheet of paper on Sunday.
Go team.
I made the move from my office to another location in the building closer to the Corporate folk. I believe I'm slowly being assimilated. They bought me a new computer with a dual-core processor and 4 Gb or RAM.
This awesome machine has made me more productive; as a result, I believe I will have more time for being non-productive.
I'm planning on attending Coachella and Bonnaroo this year.
